Quick start guide
Use the documentation to learn how to install Simbi Rebar, activate your licence, and use the main tools.
Which Revit versions are supported?
Revit 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027.
Do I need a separate license for each version of Revit?
No. One seat covers every supported Revit version on your computer (currently 2024–2027). Install the add-in into as many Revit versions as you like on that one machine — it is all the same seat.
I have Revit 2024 and Revit 2026 on the same PC. Is that one seat or two?
One. The seat is bound to the computer, not to the Revit version, so both are covered.
Can I use my seat on more than one computer?
A seat activates one computer at a time. You can move it between your own computers freely — deactivate on the old one, activate on the new one — but to run Simbi Rebar on two computers at the same time you need a seat for each.
How do I move my seat to a new PC?
In Revit, open the Simbi Rebar Licence window and click **Deactivate this PC**. That frees your seat. Then install and activate on the new computer. You do not need to contact us.
Can I buy Simbi Rebar for my whole team?
Yes. Choose the number of seats you need at checkout. You receive one licence key per seat, together in one email, and hand one key to each user. Five or more seats are billed at a reduced per-seat rate.
How are team seats delivered — one shared key, or one each?
One key per seat. Every user gets their own key and activates their own
computer, so seats stay independent: if someone leaves, they deactivate their machine and you reassign that one key to a replacement, without touching anyone else.
